1995 Explorer XLT Lift Only Please (Help)

My factory wheels on my Explorer were 15s and after I installed Fabtech spindles the outer tie rod BJ just kissed the rim of the wheel and peeled some of the aluminum away due to the elevated knuckle to accomodate for bumpsteer. It depends on the backspacing of the wheel obviously, but Gen 1 ST's will fit a 15" wheel the same as rangers and Explorers because they have the exact same rotors and calipers.

Sure, but with one change:

It depends on the backspacing of the wheel obviously, but Gen 1 ST's will fit some 15" wheel the same as rangers and Explorers because they have the exact same rotors and calipers.

My 15s will not fit at all. No way, no how. Believe me, I really wanted them to.

I guarantee you all 15s do not fit on Sport Tracs. I have a set of Outlaw IIs that don't fit. Other Sport Trac owners have had similar problems.

This thread is not in the sport trac forum, so why the confusion?

haha, weird. Well it was an Explorer question so they will fit the Explorer at least.

That's all I wanted to point out is that they don't necessarily fit STs. I was hoping someone would let the OP know if that was the same case with Explorers. Apparently it is not. I wasn't trying to get off topic argue about whether all 15s fit STs; I already know that answer. Just trying to help the OP with his project.

So based on this thread, Xavi, go ahead and buy any set of 15s you like. They've been guaranteed to fit your Explorer.
