1995 ford explore fule tank

What years are interchangable for a 1995 for explore sport fule tank. I go to pull apart it's 20 bucks I can weld the hole. But there is a 1997 and couple 2000 and 2001 dose the explore,sport and other models differ what can you use?

im not sure, but check if you have the one with the skid plate, I know mine has that which makes it different
