1995 trailer light question

I have a 1995 sport trac explorer.
I spliced my trailer light plug into the wires coming from the drivers side tail lights going to the License plate lights.

They worked great for about two weeks and then I jack knived my trialer and crimped and cut the wires between the trailer hitch and bumper.

I thought no problem and I replaced the plug and all the wires and still didint work.I used my tester and none of the wires coming to that plug have any juice now.

I pulled all the fuses on the interior fuse panel and none of them are blown.

So what is the problem?A fuse I dont know about?
Where is the trailer light fuse anyway?

I just replaced all the fuses on the inside panel and still nothing.

Is the fuse for this uner the hood?

My parking lites and brake lites and turn signals all work on the truck. I just dont have any power running to the wires that go down by the lic plate lights.....
