Ok...went out and started to try and fix this damn CEL p0401.
I disconnect and inspected the hoses from the egr solenoid and started the car. The bottom shorter connection was making a hissing noise. When I put my finger over it, > felt a slight vacuum.
Then I pulled a vacuum directly to the egr.......nothing was happening then I heard a loud pop and the diaphragm moved. Could it of been stuck?. After that I repeatedly pulled a vacuum...the diaphram moved and the rpms dropped.
Now I am gonna run it and see if the CEL comes on
