Hope I am wrong but have you checked your timing? Is the "Check Engine" light on? Sounds like one of those things you just have to search out. This Forum has lots of info that can help but you just have to have patients and keep looking. Good luck.

a little update i went out last night to try and crank it because i had to put battery charger on it i ran the battery down on it fired right up let it run for about 20 minutes or so killed it went inside to get my flashlight came back out maybe 10 minutes later would do nothing but turnover tried it just this morning just turns over will not start does anybody have any ideas

Fuel system? Can you check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail? Maybe try with fuel cap off. Just a thought.

i have a question about the crankshaft position sensor when it fails does it prevent spark to the plugs?

i have a question about the crankshaft position sensor when it fails does it prevent spark to the plugs?

my understanding is 'yes'. exactly what happened to me last year: wouldn't start one night, had it towed to shop. next morning shop calls and said it started up fine, ok to come get it. arrive to pick-up and it won't start. shop then diagnosed the crank sensor and I had them replace it. has been 11 months and I have not had a problem since.

Got a little update on the situation I decided to change plugs and wires plugs were shot still no start tried spraying starting fluid in the intake nothing not even a hiccup took one plug out on both sides both were wet. I also listened for compression while the plugs were out will put a compression gauge on it tomorrow I think it's going to be a issue with the drivers side i say that it makes a completely different sound when you turn it over with the spark plug out I think I have ruled out fuel spark and air so I'm looking at the compression side of things if the compression is off what would my next step be?

Have you checked to see if the CAMSHAFT position sensor is good? Is the CHECK ENGINE light on?

i have not checked the camshaft position sensor . the check engine light comes on when you turn the key but goes off when you try starting it.
