I have a 1996 Explorer Limited. I bought the truck to use till I can save for a new one but am very impressed with the sound system. I have been having problems with the sub and I want to use the factory amp and hook up a sub that I have rather than replace the whole system. Does anyone know if I can just splice the wires going to the factory sub and hook up to my aftermarket sub? Does anyone know the size of the amp in that truck.
