1996 Ford Explorer. Where's the drain plug on the differential?

can someone please help me out I'm looking for the rear differential oil plug on a 1996 ford explorer, v8 auto. all wheel drive

Here's where mine is on my 2000 Sport 2WD.

That is the Fill plug.

You drain it by removing the rear cover. Then once it is installed again, you fill the fluid up by pulling that plug that is shown in the picture, and fill the rear-end up until the fluid is level with the bottom of the hole (fluid will start to dribble out).

There are alot of options out there to replace the rear-end cover with one that has a real drain plug, and a better located fill plug.
