1996 Headliner compatability

The headliner in my '96 Explorer is disintegrating. I was at Pull-A-Part and several Explorers had headliners in good condition, but they were not 1996. All of them looked the same. Does anyone know which year headliners are compatible with the 1996?

95-01 should all work if i'm not mistaken.

95-01, make sure you obv. get one from a 4 door if you have a 4 door :

What color? Not all colors were available from '95 to '01...

Also be aware of the moonroof.

If its gray, make sure its the lighter gray. I think it was 98? when they had the new "darker" gray come out.

Thanks for the warnings. I do have a moon roof (which recently stopped opening, but that is another issue). It is gray, but if I have to settle for darker, I will try to take the visors to match also. It should still be a big improvement over holes.
