1996 XLT V6 To v8 conversion

I have a 1997 xlt with 5.0 in it. 144,000 miles. It is bashed in on one side but i kept it for the drive train. Im gonna buy a 1996 xlt tomorrow with the 4.0 sohc. It currently has 220,000 miles. It needs a new trans or rebuild. How hard would it be to put the 5.0 with trans in the 96 model v6? They are identical. What all would i need to change? I have all running parts and electrical components from the 5.0.

I don't think either of your trucks have pats, so it should be easier.
