What are some of the major differences in the 2 years. Heres my issue I currenltly have a 1997 with 200000 on the ticker with a broke ring. So a buddy sells me a complete engine problem is its a p engine ,I have a non p . Not an easy swap to deal with and pass emissions test. So I found a 1998 thats been in a wreck but the airbags never deployed and it comes with all the parts to fix for 1100. It has 196000 miles on it and the entire vehicle is in better shape than mine. So whats the best year between the 2 ? My plans are to just add 31s and TMH A 4406 transfer case and be done . So give me your opinions and suggestions
