1997 Explorer 4x4

Is there any lift kits out there for a 1997 Explorer 4x4? Why don't you ever see anything for the 1997s? It's killing me...please help, I need new tires and I wanted to lift it and put bigger tires on it at the same time.

Sorry Fordman, Dead Link RemovedNO LIFTS FOR 95+ EXPLORERS YET. Dead Link Removed The GOOD NEWS is that Trailmaster is supposed to have one out by the beginning of next year. Dead Link Removed It will be a 4" lift. I have also heard that ARB/Old Man EMU "Down Under" is comming up with a 2" lift. Dead Link Removed If you do a search here, you will find alot of threads about the lack of 95+ lifts. I feel for you, I have a 97 also. There are alot of us waiting for a lift kit. I can suggest that maybe getting the extended shackles from Warrior Products and doing the "torsion Bar Twist", that will give you 1 to 1.5 inches more, which should give you enough room for 32's. Other than that, there's nothing except a body lift. Next year is just around the corner, just a little more patients. Dead Link Removed
