Does anyone know what fuse controls the rear license plate lights on a 1997 ford explorer xlt??

I wouldn't think the license plate lights would have a fuse separate from the tail lights.

and I agree that I would think the tag and tail lights would be on the same circuit.

If you know you're getting power to the sockets, they're not corroded and the bulbs are good, then the only thing left is a grounding problem.
