I've got a 1997 ranger that i have been working on for some time know when a little free time and money come in at the same time. The truck was rolled and the motor and transmission was fine in it. When i bought the truck i had no idea what i was doing, I bought the truck to learn on and i have learned a lot of "well i shouldn't have done it that way." and ended up cracking the head dew to a bad rad hose. This is the work i have done so far to the tuck. Replaced the cab, motor doors, fenders, and a few other things that i can't think of off the top of my head. Well its time to finish the truck up so i can get it painted and on the road. It has a 2.3l with around 111,000 and its a manual. The left rear axle is warped, so my thoughts is just go to the junk yard and get another rear end, i want to go with disk breaks on the back instead of the drum breaks. So my question is this can i use a rear end out of a explorer.

If anyone would like i can post a link up of the work done to the truck.
