1998 Explorer. Head gasket advice is needed.

Hey guys this is my first post. One of my buddies asked for my help doing a head gasket on his 98 explorer 4.0 OHV. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or if there was anything special I shud know about doing this for him. I've done headgaskets before just not on this motor and im sure there are a few things you guys could tell me to make it go smoothly.

It usually is cracked heads not head gasket so I would have them professionally checked while they are off or you will be doing job again.
