Hi guys I recently went to change the spark plugs on my 1999 ford explorer and as soon as I opened the hood i could tell I was in trouble. They were well hidden but I managed to get all but one out by first taking of the tires and going out them that way. The only one that I cannot seem to get out from the top or bottom is the 6th one. Its the one closest to the driver. Any suggestions?

do what your doing. the only way to get them all is going in the wheelwell. they can be a little bit of a PITA, but when you have done it once, its not so bad.

You can get the passenger back one, by just using a small ratchet a small extension and the spark plug socket. Be patient and a little flexible, It'll come out just fine.
