1st Gen BodyKit

I've seen worse. But I don't like it at all. I think that if you really want to update the look of your 1st gen, and make it a street machine then you need to goto the junk yard, and buy a front clip and all the necessary parts from a 2nd gen and do a conversion (there's threads about doing this). I don't like the looks of lowered/street 1st gens, they don't look right to me (that' just my opinion though). I think that a 2nd gen clip on a 1st gen would look MUCH better and would deffinitly be more unique...not just a bunch of crappy plastic like the ricers have

LOL! Glad i asked hahahaha i just saw it on there and was curious . HAHAHAHA see guys though im more of the lowering type of guy becuz im in the city the only climbing i would be doing here is climbing cars hahaha so i went to the lower i guess u can say the "ricer look" but i think that 2nd gen idea sounds cool. is it easy to do? any one have any pics of a first gen wit second gen front? because i know i tell the years of explorers by the tails or the turn signals and if anyone else does the same and sees the front is second gen and tails are first im sure i will be getting many questions. and thank you for your opinions too.

We're not doggin you out cause you want to lower your truck, its just a proven fact that Explorers look better without any bodykits. I, personally, think trucks should be lifted, or at least stay stock height, but to each his own. You will find many "street" expo's on here. Hartman and Alec come to mind right off. Good luck with whatever you decide.

EDIT: Also AlaskaJack is currently doing a 1st gen Sploder to a 2nd gen Ranger conversion. That should look pretty sweet when hes done.

yes the Navajo Tail lights like on Fhatzam's Will bolt right up, there is oen member i know of that has swapped his out, search and im sure you can find it or give em a aminute and il lfind it. I tihnk the navajo tail lights look better than the Stock Explorer Tail Lights, And i want to do tha swap also.......

That truck looks really nice man. I can tell you've put a lot of time and effort into it. Where did you get the rear seat covers?? Also just because you asked for an opinion on the cardomain site, im going to have to pass on those round headlight panels. Its just looks TOO far off. But again, thats just my opinion. Truck looks good! And yes the Navajo taillights will bolt right up, and look very nice!

pepboys!!!!!! lol 20 bucks it came with 2 front seat cover 2 headrest cover 2 shoulder pad and the back seat i only used the back seat one though. First and only time i have seen a back seat one.

Any luck on finding it? my back seat covers is the first back seat cove ri have ever seen on ANY car lol. I saw an explorer yesterday guys........ and it had those friggin spinner HUBCAPS ON IT!!!! i wanted 2 shoot the guy i mad ehim roll his window down and i was like whats wrong with you! SPINNER HUBCAPS......ON A XPLORER? he laughed like i was joking. i wish i had a camera one thing about the guy is he could of been cheech martins TWIN brother i **** you not.
