I dont run a swaybar and its fine. I also drive mine every day also.

I DD mine 70 miles round trip to work everyday.... the only way to keep the front from bouncing like hell is to run 30 PSI in the tires... that in turn is beating the hell out of the joints.... not to mention me...

if I drop it down, it sways back and forth when i hit a bump.... kinda like death wobble with the body.... :D

I'll be goin to 39.5's this winter so I figure a swaybar might be a good idea... looking to see what fits.... I "made" one from an old YJ bar that I had laying around... just looking for more options...

Mine does not have a prob. I used to do a 50 mile round trip every day on the hwy and it was fine.

well I guess I imagined it then....

oh im not saying yours does not do anything like that. Mine does not thats all.

I've been thinking about trying to adapt the stock 2nd sway bar. Mine is doing the same thing yours is with the body sway. Which leads me to not even wanting to drive it.

But I'm not full width. Hopefully you come up with something that I can copy. :D

I drove sureshot's rig. It drives nice and there really is nothing wrong with it. However, he runs 70 miles on interstate every day and is just trying to get it to drive a little better. :)

I like the 2nd gen. swaybar idea. It should be wider end to end. Im sure we could get it lined up with the radius arm endcaps.

like i said.... I made one from a YJ bar that just needs a mounting tab and figure out how to mount to axle....

guess nobody has done one before.....

Burns: how much lift do you have.... ???? what size coils...???

i got one on mine. it is from a 79 full size bronko works great corners as good as my 92 thunder bird.
also put the stock one back on in the rear.
you should check your draglink angle with the track bar angle.
mine were not the same and, it was real exciting when i would hit a bump at 60 mph. i made them the same and that fixed the prob
good luck !!

threrookie made one for Spas when she got her SAS. Ask her for pictures, but from what ive heard it drives really nice and she's pretty pickey about ride quality.

angles are perfect....

I dropped the psi to 27 and turned the valving down on the shocks.... MUCH better.....

I think most of the swaying was from the wrist pin being unlocked at 80 mph with 20 psi..... :D

so far so good... the test will be the drive to work tonite...

I am running 36s prob got around nine or ten inches of total suspension lift on it. I can run 85 and it feels fine. Even on the worse roads.

sounds like we have the same setup.....

the drive to work was great..... I tried and couldnt get it to sway agin.... aint worrying bout it right now... still gonna put the homemade swaybar on it later tho'....
