2" hitch explorer - ranger

I have an 02 XLS with this little 1.25" hitch, will a 2" hitch from an 02 ranger fit my X? I am installing a 2" on the front for my winch basket and want to be able to use my winch on the rear also?

I don't think so. I looked on car-part.com and looks like the OEM 2" hitches for our explorers are a little hard to come by in your area (and in Va too).

Curt MFG does make one that will bolt up underneath your existing 1.25" one though. Rockauto has them and you can get a discount using the forum code. They run about 130 without the discount I think.

I purchased a class III from Uhaul for pretty cheap. Just order it off their website and they shipped mine for free. It was an easy install using a floor jack to get it into place. It's heavy duty and it mates with the little hitch and covers it.
