alright so i have two issues with my explorer i've been meaning to post for a while now but just keep forgetting

just to let you know it's a 96 sport

issue one!!!
back when it was snowy/icy here in nebraska i had my explorer in 4wd and anytime i got above about 35 mph both the "4wd" light and the "4wd low gear"light would flash twice and then neither light would be on would still have four wheel drive on and the four wheel drive was functioning but unfortunately the lights just weren't on and to make it so the 4wd light would come back on again i had to turn the explorer off and back on again

ISSUE NUMBER TWO!!!

just as a little background i absolutely HATE using my automatic unlocking doors (the remote unlocker with the keyring) and so i always use me key well my drivers side door refuses to unlock with the key, i have to use the keypad, and press the 3/4 button a few extra times to unlock the other doors and then it will actually unlock the drivers door and it sucks!!!!!!! i wish i could walk up to my car put the key in the drivers side door lock turn it clockwise and have an unlocked door

PLEASE HELP ME to diagnose/fix these problems

-i know you will be very helful so thank you in advance!!!!

just spray some graphite lube into the lock cylinder and that should fix the problem, at least it worked for me. wd-40 works good too but not for very long .

not sure about your other problem, maybe someone else can chime in

your flashing 4w lights when cross a speed is probably a speed sensor problem on the transfer ... two of them. Some have had success by cleaning or replacement.
