2 JL 10' subs with kicker amp or two 12' kenwoods

i have to friends that are selling subs and one has 2 JL 10's with a kicker amp for $200 they spound good but i heard them in a civic and and im putting them in a explorer and also the other guy has 2 12' kennwoods NO amp $100. they both have boxes and i think there both good deals but im not that experienced so what do you think?

i'd take the JL's over the kenwoods. especially with an amp. kenwood makes good head units, but i'm not a fan of their amps/subs. imo JL is better quality (while overpriced) but you're gettin a good deal on em. and kicker has pretty decent amps as well
