Here's an odd question: Is it ok to run two spacers right next to eachother behind your rims?

I have 3/16 in the front and 5/16 in the rear just to give my SVT wheels a lil extra room (the fronts used to rub). However I wanna push them out just a little bit more w/o spending too much money, can I pick up another set like i already have, and just add another spacer right next to the ones I already have on there????

Thanks guys

No.

Spacers are bad enough, especially if they are pushing your lugnuts farther out on the lugs and keeping them from getting enough thread to grab on.

IF you want more spacing, I'd suggest getting the bolt-on kind of spacers.

You can of course get thicker spacers and just use those, (a single, thicker spacer), but that just makes the lugnuts/threads issue worse.

If you can get some open-end lugnuts that still leave plenty of thread sticking out on the ends of the lugs even with the spacers installed, it should be okay.

Ok,

the thing is I have spacers b/c I need them. Few others have the rims I have and they rubbed like crazy when i first got them. My spacers are VERY small, and still allow for plenty of tightening w/ the lug nuts. Its now that I'm more interested in the appearance. Looks like I'll have to just find new, safe spacers....

Thanks guys!

i just got a set of aircraft grade 1.5 inch spacers with studs 10 grade and lug nuts all 4 for $120.00....from ebay-a little different than what your doing but i torqued and re-torqued them and havent had any problems with o month so far....definatly the way to go if you do at all...

so 1.5" wheel spacers will clear the stock studs?

yes, i imagine you could do 1.25, and cut the taper off the stud, but 1.5 just looks badass :D make sure they are BOLT ON wheel spacers..none of that shim bullshit...

yep they are just got a full set shipped to Canada for $140 there gonna look badass , but i gotta trim the tiniest peice of plastic
