Hi I'm new here and could use a little help. The other day I was out and put the truck in park. When I tried to leave it wouldn't shift out of park. I did some quick research and found it was the #9 fuse changed it and it shifted. When I got home and parked I tried to shift out of park and same thing. Now the only way I can get out of park is changing this fuse. First question is is there an override button on a 2000 xlt? Second what could this be? Sidenote about 6 weeks ago my brake lights went out. The one above the taillight was working tho. I took to a guy and he got them working. I have very limited funds so I can't take it to a shop. I can do some basic things on my own with help from videos. Idk of that has anything to do with what's happening now. Brake lights are working. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
