Horn seems to have a mind of its own and starts honking and will not stop... Any ideas on what could be causing this issue?

clock spring shorting out?

While driving or when you open a door? You know like the theft alarm.

Is the hood closed all of the way?

If the lights are also flashing, it's likely the anti-theft. Mine has been doing the same thing occasionally, usually when it's wet out. Drives my wife crazy, so had been leaving it unlocked in the yard. I recently glued a penny to the hood where it pushes on the hood sensor - seems to have helped since have been locking it again w/o it sounding off. If it starts again, will just unplug the hood sensor since it appears to be "normally open" with the hood closed. Good luck.

Check your battery.

Mine would go off randomly, until I got a new one.
