Did not get this message until I got the truck. Also, for the price that I got it, I can get work done to the engine and would have some reliability for a bit.

If you got a good deal on then why not tackle the ticking. I would like to point out that i see a lot of lifted trucks on this forum. I see more threads about people registering there lifted trucks then i see threads about the sohc and its probelms. Guess how many lifted explorers i see in person? Its well under 1% of all explorers i see. Get my drift?

I am going to change to some better oil, Mobil 1 and run some BG MOA in it and see how much I can get from the engine before it is toast.

Anyone use Mobil Clean High Mileage?
