Hey! my trac is looking for some new bright lights. My headlight just recently burnt out and I am now looking for some new headlights (hid, xenon, halogen or led), I have no idea which to get.

or

Replace my headlight with a normal light and place a 20" light bar below the front grill. Or has anyone put a light bar attached to the roof, like the new rigid curved ones? How long would you need it?

Please help me out with links or product numbers from ebay (has anyone tried these headlights) or other sites!:salute::rangergreen:

Not looking to spend to much but willing to consider anything

I personally have 5000K 35W HIDs from DDM tuning and love them. As for the light bar I'm pretty sure you could get the 50" curved for a roof mount, I've seen a ranger with a 50" so I'm assuming it would be fine. Either way you have to get custom mounts made so you could do whatever bar you want really. And if you don't want to spend as much look at places like DigiDiodes or OLB lights, those are way cheaper than rigid.

Thanks so much for the reply!

Which type of bulb do you suggest I want my highs and lows to work. Do you have any pictures/ is it easy or need any mods to install

Not really that great of a pic, but saw this trac today with a light bar across the roof. It had custom brackets to mount to the roof rack. Just to give you an idea of how it would look

That's the site I got mine from. Go to "HID kits and components" and then you have where you can choose what you want. Get the 9007 Hi/Low kit. It's an extra $20 but you will have the high beams. I got the low beam only kit and wish I had payed the extra 20 but oh well, I won't ever need the high beams and I'll just spend the 10 minutes changing out bulbs once a year to get it inspected. And there's no modification (unless you were planning on installing projectors), they plug right in and you just mount the ballast with 3M double sided tape somewhere dry.

And I don't have pics of them on my computer but I can get some later
