2001 Ford Ranger No Air Blow thru Defrost

2001 Ford Ranger XLT 86,000 Miles: I have a defrost problem. I check for vacuum leaks, no leaks, a/c works and heater thru front panel and floor but not thru defrost, change Blower Control Switch still don't blow thru defrost, don't know what else to do, HELP

I tried this fix on my 2002 Ford Explorer, hopefully it might work for you
It is that part that moves that the video shows at 1:33. Mine was not completely broken like the one in the video, but was on its way out which allowed the floor and dash vents to work, but it was not able to pull the defrost vent open.
