My 2002 Explorer 4.6l V8. The "service engine soon" light came on. The scanner indicated a problem at the 6 cil. I replaced the ignition coil at that cylinder and all 8 spark plugs. Light was out and came back on after a two days. Compression test indicated low compression. Leak test showed air blowing through inlet valve, you could hear the air blowing through the air intake. I also noticed that the coolant fluid went down a little bit, so coolant fluid is leaking. Question: Do I need only to replace the gasket in the intake or also the inlet valve. The latter is very expensive. The car has only 130k original. Please advise asap. Thanks Marc
