I was driving from Dallas back to Nola on christmas day and lost all power with the engine. I did notice a huge vaccum leak. I found a parts store that was open so I took the cover off of the throttle body and found what appeared to be a 1/2 dollar size hole in the intake just at the junction behind the throttle body. I fashioned up a fiberglass patch to go over the top and limped the car home.
Now my question is will an intake from a 04 4.0l fit a 02 4.0l. Thats the only one I can find anywhere around here and the hell if i'm going to provide Ford$580 for a new one. Thanks for the help.
