Welcome to the site. Use the search function and you'll find a lot of info on this topic. There is no current kit (body or suspension) to lift a 2002+ 4 door Explorer due to its design.

The one thing that it apears we are geting is adjustable coil overs from rancho, that acording to their aplication sheets will earn you about 2 inches. There slated for a 3rd quarter of this year release, and i dont think theyre available yet, altho i could be wrong on that. I have the part numbers around here somewhere, but its to early for me to dig for em now.
I can post em up here in the morning, or if you beat me to it you can get it off of their website.
Rancho said they were doing a lift kit for the 3rd gens, but i think thats a beleive it when you see it kind thing, altho id like to be proven wrong. It looks like were definately geting the coilovers, and ill gladly take what i can get.

So I think I am in the same boat that you are 02. I was wondering if anyone knows if the kits for a sport track, ranger or comparable vehicle of the same year will allow a suspension lift on a 02 2wd/2dr Ford Explorer Sport.

Yours is a sport so it's based off a second gen. Since your 2wd you can use a spindle lift for a ranger up front, crank up the torsion bars 2" for a total of 5" of lift in the front. Then you can soa the rear to even it out and throw some 33"s or 35's on. Personally I would just shackle the rear and torsion twist the front...much easier and since your 2wd your not going to be doing much wheeling

Thank you that is exactly what I was looking for. I appreciate it very much.

me and you are in the same boat but my explorer is 4x4.
