Hey all... My veh has been wrecked but repaired. I had to change bulb, but was never able to get my passenger side assembly to fit right. I can't seem get it to fully latch it seems. It's hard to see what's happening actually. but no matter what I do, it seems to want to tip down, and I'm able to move it around with my hand. So it's not latching, but I can't tell where and why.
On the drivers side, there is a long hex adjustment shaft that sticks up, but it seems like the passenger one doesn't have that. I can't recall what is different, but there is a difference. I can't seem to get the drivers side shaft to move at all with pliers. The passenger side is the problem because it seems to only want to adjust with plastic "nuts". And to get it to hold firm, and sit at the right angle, there is no more adjustment left on the nut. I prop it up with a rock believe it or not!
It's almost like the mount is pushed back or something. It's just so hard to get in there and do anything because everything is encased in metal, etc. I'm not sure what to do. Drives me nuts to be honest.
