Anyone know if a locker from a 2002 F-150 8.8 will work in my 98 xlt 2wd???
Would there be a massive benefit to doing it if it will? :burnout:

i didnt think 8.8s came in F150s after 95, i could be wrong. the person may be talking about the front diff which is an 8.8 reverse rotation, if thats the case it will not work.

If it is out of the rear of a F150, make sure its for an 8.8. The F150's also came with the "mini-Sterling". From what i understand, if its V6 or 4.6V8 it will be an 8.8, and if its a 5.4V8 it will be the sf Sterling. I could very well be wrong. My mom has a 2000 4.6 and its an 8.8.

Actually it is out of an E-150 van.......sorry and it is the rear. I would assume that if it is actually an 8.8 that it would work???? It seems that this is Fords favorite rear end.
