2002 ford explorer xlt 4x4 low blinks

why is it blinking and how do you fix it

Is it blinking all the time? Does your 4x4 work properly?

Only when I click it and my high 4x4 works perfectly fine

Do you have the shift lever in neutral when you push the 4lo button? It will usually blink because you are not in the proper gear(neutral).

Ok so you have to be in neutral while ur going into low? Also does it mader if I'm moving because my dad told me it will really f up my transmission

You have to be in neutral and stopped. It will not go into low while moving or in drive.
