Thanks for the help. I just got my 02 back from the dealer and he said it was not on the truck and they would have to get it from the computer for $40. How long did this take to do?

Don't pay 'em, get it yourself for free!

It's tough to say exactly how long since I was also replacing my steering wheel at the same time. I would guess, it would take me about 15-20 minutes (the first time). I could probably do it in 5 minutes now that I know exactly how those panels come off. Give it a try, it's really not that hard at all.

If you get stuck, I'd be happy to answer any questions but I doubt you'll have any trouble.

On my 2000 it's in the compartment on the computer where the jack is located. It really burns me when a dealer tries to rip you off for 1 minute of work that they can tell you over the phone. Not a good way to get repeat business.
