2003 explorer electrical problem! help!

my door ajar always stays on this is so annoying i have to remove the dome light, then the next day my mirror and ac stop working.:thumbdwn:


i read somewhere where you have to spray wd40 around the sensor. but can some one please explain it clearly where its at?

oh and my door locks doesnt work, i have to use remote

I have this same problem on and off with my '03 x/xls. There are a lot of posts on this site on this common problem. Just spray lots of wd on and in the door latch mechanism and open and close the door a few times......the problem 'should' go away, at least temporarily. Like I said, search the site for other posts on this same problem. Hope this helps.
 






i did that this morning still getting the same problem. i mean so you soak it wet with wd40? i only spray on the doors not the latch.
 












If spraying lubricant in the doors doesn't help you should look inside the rubber boot between the drivers door and frame for broken, chaffed, or stretched wires. That is often the cause of misc electrical gremlins. Let us know what you find out.
