I am replacing my rear rotors and pads and after removing the rotors I also need to replace the pb shoes and I cannot remove the hub.Is there anything else holding the hub besides the large nut? Even tried a hub puller and the hub moved but now the axle looks off center and I can't get the hub pushed back on and to have somebody else do the pb shoes.

If you removed the rotors that's it, you do not need to remove the hub nor can you as the hub is pressed into the bearing.

I thought I read somewhere that you had to remove the hub to replace the pb shoes. So now I have to remove the axle because the hub is off center and will not go back on the axle?

Should go back in, can be a pain to line it up but it will go back in.
