2003 Explorer oil filter adapter broke

I changed the oil filter adapter and when reinstalling it the top bolt broke. I'm having a hard time finding a replacement for it. Before I spend $200-$300 just for the part at the dealership can I get an oil filter relocation kit and run that instead of replacing the stock housing? Any other viable options to replace?

I've been looking all over and spent hours going through junk yards but every 4.6 is already taken out of the car

4.6l seem popular in the South yet non existent in California. They are hard to come by, even in the wrecking yards here.
