Have a 2003 ford explorer xlt 4 dr. Question is how hard is it to replace the quarter glass on driver side?

I ended up taking this to a shop next door. they did the pasangers side. I got some used glass from a yard online. there was a problem with the intsallation. something about studs in the glass that needed to be cut off. the sales rep that I spoke with on the phone did not ask me for my vin number.
