This is my wife's truck and the AC blower motor doesn't blow nearly as hard as it did when we bought it new.. It sounds the same , I know the fan speeds are working but the air volume is low.. We are both smokers and use the AC religiously!!Is there a cabin filter in these trucks? I was told it wasn't by someone. Anyhow, anybody have a clue what could be the problem? Dirty fan blade? I know dust will cut down on the air flow on a box fan , Would it be the same? How hard is it to remove and clean the fan if you think that could be it?

...Try doing a search on here for "Blend Door"...;)

...Common problems are the blend door, vacuum line in dash loose, or something falling in and blocking the duct or blend door...As long as you know you have variable fan speeds, that is where I would first check...:hammer:

I had read about that but I didn't see it describe my problem.... I have COLD air and all the air is coming from the vents.. It just blows about half as hard as it use too.. Where does the fan draw its air from?

...It draws from outside air (thru the cowl), or inside the cab air (Max AC)...
