Hi Folks,
Another question. The drivers center arm rest seems to be missing something. With the rest cushion folded upward, there looks like a small velcro fastener on the massive expanse that remains, and possibly a 'hook' just under the cushion hinge.

Is there something that fits into this crevasse? Again, I''m still missing the books so I can't look these things up.

Thanks,
Steven

I think what you're missing is the carry bag for CD's or whatever. Mine has never been out of the truck.

Bummer... I'll poke around the internet to see if I can find what that carry bag might look like... if you get a chance maybe you can post a picture of that carry bag installed under that arm rest.

Thanks for the reply...

I'll have to take a pic, I don't have one. I'll try to get to it tonight. No prob.

Okay, here's my armrest pics. My truck has the short console.

Armrest down, bag in place.

My understanding is that the Sport Trac and its features like this were designed for young folks on the go and their recreational activities. Grab your bag of CD's and hit the bonfire on the beach with your bikes or surfboards or whatever. Of course, young people who would do that generally can't afford a new Sport Trac. .02.

Excellent Photos! Now it all makes sense :)
It really looks strange with the bag missing.. now I have to find one to fill that cavern.

Great job.. thanks!

No problem, happy to help. :chug:
You should be able to find one in a junkyard or maybe eBay.
