2004 e.b. Whats it worth

I was think about trading in my Explorer and getting a pick up truck so I went to the dealer today and all he wanted to give me was $7000.00. Its an '04 E.B. with 70k miles, V8, White. Whats a price to ask if I'm selling it privately ? Thanks

I looked at a clean EB 2004 here with all options but 150k miles for $6,200 private party sale...

That's not bad, there are '03-'05 V8 80k-140k Gen III's all over Craigslist around here for $8k to $11k.

Have to expect them to want to make some money on it...
