2004 Explorer cuts off while driving down Road and crank right back up??? only 79000 miles

Is your battery well secured? I've herd of people's batteries jumping up and shorting out on the hood, shutting the truck off: exact same symptoms.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 2002-2005 section. Check your battery terminals for corrosion. Do you have fit all aftermarket terminals? If so, they develop corrosion, and get loose after a while.
