I went out on a limb and got two sets of ford f150 spacers or leveling kit to try to retrofit to the explorer and they arrived, i measured and the rears will fit with little to no mods and the front are only a quarter of an inch too big around, so i will trim them up next weekend and make them fit oh and their advertised 2 and one half inches is at the wheel the spacers actually measure 1 and 3/4 inches they are 1/4 inch plate and i will have to redrill them but not a big deal and cost way less! score, more updates with pics when i get time to put them on!

I'm a little confused are these wheel spacers or what you mentioned its a levelling kit...

i think hes talking about coil spacers, similar to what BTF sells

04 f150 spacers

Where did you get the spacers from??? Any info would be great. I'm going to order them and ill post pics of the build too.

strut spacers

yes they are strut spacers actually a leveling kit for 2004 and up f150 4x4s i got em off ebay from a company called springtech. Like i said the lift is advertised for the f150 at 2.5 inches but the spacers actual height is about 1 and 3/4 inches tall they are 6 inches in diameter and from the measurements i took they should fit on the back with just a redrill, however the fronts r about 1/2 inch too big so i am gonna buy a good wheel for my grinder and make em fit . like i said these are 1/4 inch plate steel and are very heavy duty, so i picked them because i thought they would still be plenty strong after redrilling them for mounting totl cost was about 180.00 so i am planning on using the extra to save for the arms from brandon at btf next year i will post the pics when i get time to get em on the truck peace out!

any updates on the fitment of the spacers? im ready to buy some and if these work without too much modification its definitely worth the savings

I haven't been able to order them yet...had some other bills to pay. As soon as i get them ordered and in hand, ill start taking pics as i get them mounted.
