2004 LED interior mod

I am new here and I am in the beginning stages of changing the interior to LED. I took out all the housing just to make sure everything was in place but I am having a hard time taking out the trunk/cargo housing.

It seems not to want to budge, I am not sure if its glued on, but I did not have trouble taking any other housing out (Map light, dome). I know the bulb size is 158. Is there a special way to take off the housing of the trunk/cargo area to replace bulb?

Any help would be appreciated.

Mine was the same way, its held into the headliner with clips i just popped those out and put it in from behind. It does come off but its very tricky

Funny, my (2) JL W7 13.5s always shook the cargo light cover off, but I struggled with two screw drivers the one time I actually needed it off

Yeah, that thing pops off, but it is royal PITA.

Thanks, I will have to try it again but it won't e for awhile now, had to cancel my order from carid.com since the LED bulbs were on back order.
