first, do look at the adds here as all suppliers are somehow related to our trucks...there are several items to find in search if you look under mods, and here is one you should like as he is a member here...look up bamachips.com on the internet...;)

You can get the KKM intake. Also, just go to a local muffler shop and change the muffler out to a magnaflow or something. Then go with the Xcal2 or something similar to reprogram your ride

Do u have an idea of what the end result be of this? aprox. increase in pwr?

Not gonna be much but it will be a noticeable difference. Your throttle response will be greatly improved. It's definitely worth the money. I would think it would be good for around 15-20 hp on the v6

intake and muffler drop about 2.5 secs out of ur 0-60... quite swift... ull def tell.. and yea somewhere in the 10-15hp range

Get rid of the clutch fan and go to electric for a couple extra MPG and HP.

I offer cat back exhaust systems, headers, tuning, cold air intakes and underdrive pullies for your application. Contact me via pm or email.

Hey guys I'm new here. I'm thinking of putting a body lift on my 2005 XLT. So far I haven't been able to find one. I can find a lift for a 2005 sport trac and thats it. I think it's retarded if they make one for the sport trac and not a xlt. anyway if you know of one let me know. I will be putting 265/74/16 BFG KO's rubber on the explorer in the next 3 weeks. After that I would like to put a body lift or mabye a air intake or something for performance. Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Jason.

Tuning, I sell a underdrive pulley, a very worthwhile mod. The cold air I am working with MAC on. But I believe I have an answer. Got a '05 Trac coming to me with in the next month.-J

its not retarded... its actually quite logical.. the older generation explorers use a completely differnet suspension.. this forum (2002-2005) is for 4-wheel independent suspensions... the 95-01 forum is the generation with the torsion bars up front, and straight axle with leaf springs in the back... the new explorer has no body lift out yet and no suspension lift as of now but its looking promising because rancho is releasing the quicklift strut soon... the explorer cannot have a body lift unless fabricated because of how the hitch is inside the back bumper rather than under it, and how the front bumper mounts on the bottom to the frame... i went with a 2" custom set of springs for the front to level it out... worked out decently although its not massive... u can fit 265/75 in ur wheel wells how they are rite now... and in my opinion, that should make it look aggressive enough.. dont put a body lift.. throws off everything thats frame-mountable with the body and u will have a rediculous amount of frame showing.. no running boards can cover that much frame shame

Thanks I'm getting closer to putting the 265/75/16's on the X. Maybe another week or two.

I've got my tuner for sale in the "for sale" section. It's the XCalibrator2 that has been mentioned in here. Just FYI

why are you selling it? and how much?

I am not sure about this, but I believe that the new Mustang uses the same V-6 engine. If that is true than you should be able to use Mustang V-6 performance parts.

Whats price on the under drive pulleys. The only down side I hate about them is the A/c only gets cold when the engine is under load and not as cold under idle.

WTF are you talking about, 2.5 seconds faster 0-60 ? with 15 HP !!

HA !

there is no way 15 HP is going to move 4000+ Lbs 2seconds faster to 60mph, you dreaming kid

FIFTY HP might be more in the ball park:banghead:

Were you you driving or did you have a 3 year old at the wheel. I don't think 15hp would shave a milkshake and Bigmac off your time in a exlpoder.

Ok back on track here..... what are some prices for the pulleys, cold air intake, etc?
