From what I have been told and seen for myself, 265 75 16 is the largest you can put on a stock Gen 3

265/75-16 will fit but are tight especially without body lift etc

Like Will said you can fit the 265's but you may need to trim the wheel well a bit.
But 255's will fit as some EX's came stock with them

I think a lot of it has to do with different makes are actually slightly different size...
