Got in my car to drive home yesterday and noticed the compass direction said "---". So I drove to a spot and ran the calibrate routine, but it wouldn't get into CAL mode, it kept going to the "set your area" mode for compass variation. Got that set, but now it won't go into CAL mode at all. Anybody had an issue similar or are these high failure parts and just get a new one?
