2007 aftermarket stereo install

Will be installing an aftermarket pioneer double din in our 2007 mountaineer. Do I have to use the aftermerket housings or do they fit in the factory hole just fine? Also what wiring adaptor are you guys using to reatin steering wheel controls and factory amp? Will this one work? http://www.crutchfield.com/p_794HRRF...n-Adapter.html

There are control boxed (usually $100) that allow you to retain your steering wheel controls.

If you buy from Crutchfield, you will get every thing you need to do the install (factory amp wiring) etc....just the steering wheel controls are separate.

And, think about upgrading your door speaker, amp and sub. Door speakers on the cheap side will be better than stock. Stock amp and sub are worthless.
