2008 aftermarket led tail lights.

Has anyone put 2002-2005 style aftermarket led tail lights in a 2008?

people have put stock 06-10 lights in a 02-05 but the pig tails have to be changed...... what you want to do is just the opposite and swap plugs and make the bulbs function how the 02-05 would..... my problem is what ever i do I cant use leds in the lower bulb or the canbus freaks out..... load resistors are not working.... I have leds in every socket but the lower bulbs

the bonus is there are tons of 02-05 parts trucks in the junk yards so plugs are easy to find
