2008 explorer v6 vs v8

hi there just wondering does anybody know the 0-60 time for v6 and v8 or even quarter mile times just wondering because i have the v6 and want to know the speed difference thanks

I'm wondening the same thing. I have the 06 V6 and im getting like 6.8-7 on 0-60's. Better on colder weather

The V8 is way faster, I had the V6 as a company car and the V8 as my own and there really is no comparison. The V8 gearbox alone makes for better kick down and accelerate.

plus the v8 can use most engine mods for the 05+ 4.6L 3v mustangs.

with my 08 eb v6 loaded with 22" wheels,kkm intake,magnaflow muffler,and bamachips tune i run 0-60 in 7.5 seconds with the v6 pretty good I think. Going to install the magnaflow cat-back instead of just the muffler to give a little bit more power.

Loaded with a boat in tow I can tell you the V8 feels significantly stronger than my neighbors V6 pulling the same boat. I'm glad I held out and hunted for the unusually hard to find V8 when I bought my used '06 EX recently. It's too bad the V8's are so hard to find.

i am suprised they let u do mods to ur lease i thought they dont let u do mods when u lease a car but i might be wrong.
