I guess that answers the question whether or not cell phones work up there:rolleyes:

Yeah, PM me your cell # I think I only have your home #.

I think we're going to be at Camp Spillman but Ryan needs to confirm, he'll probably be the first one there. I just hope I can get 'Casa de Blanco' there.

Looks like I'm going to have to work this weekend, ending my plans on attending this meet. I'll be in Toronto moving machinery all weekend. Have fun all.

Dennis

Yup...Camp Spillman is where I am planning on setting up camp. I doubt it will be even close to being full. Its easy to get campers and such in there, the road is maintained. And there is a bathroom for the campers who are tenting it.
I'm up for wheelin' Sunday if there is atleast one other truck going.

I'll do an early run on Sunday, but I want to bug out before 2pm

Well...I'm making good progress of my hood.....

I should be bolting it on by Wedensday....

I know you guys are going to love it!....

Ryan

Alright, I'm going to say I will be going. It will be me plus one. I'm not sure, but we may try to come down to camp Friday after work, but if not early Saturday morning.

I'm not sure if I missed it, but has anyone posted directions to where the camp area is, maybe from the Safeway? I vaguely remember where is it, but probably not good enough to get there at night/evening, but I know I can get to the Safeway at least.

The only thing that us going depends on is that we have to put a new fuel pump in the Dodge. My S.O. is starting that today. So the only way I wont be there is if something goes wrong with that.

Saturday
8:30am - Joe Gaylor will be at the Safeway in Belfair by 8:30? to lead folks to the trail head/camp site.

The adress for Safey is:
23961 NE State Route 3
Belfair, WA 98528

If someone can post directions from the Safeway to the camp sight that would be helpful too.

From the Safeway parking lot, Right onto NE Clifton Ln which will merge with NE Roy Boad RD in 1 block.

Heading West, go straight through the intersection with Old Belfair Hwy, ONTO SR300 (aka NE Shore RD) Continue approx 3.4 miles to NE Belfair Tahuya RD.

Turn Right ONTO Belfair Tahuya RD. Continue approx 1.75 miles to NE Effendahl Pass Rd.

Turn Right ONTO NE Effendahl Pass RD. Continue approx 2.6 miles to Oak Patch Lake RD. you can turn Left ONTO Oak Patch Lake RD or continue to the next road, Goat Ranch RD and turn Left.

The campgropund should be approx .5 miles on the right.

Again, here's a link to the DRN map of the area;

Come on folks, you have internet access look at Google Earth or Microsoft Virtual Earth:rolleyes:

:p:
Well I honestly wouldn't have even known what to look up on there except the Safeway and attempting to find it from there seemed like a waste. I thought someone might have easy access to directions.

Wouldn't this be a right turn?

Don't take it personal, notice the first line in bold in his signature:D

Thanks for the directions Phil. It's all clear to me now. My internet access has made me lazy and if I don't have an adress, I can't get directions

Anyway, plan to lea ve here about 1pm or so on Friday. Bringing Son #1, #2 got to go to T-haven. I'll give you a call on the way and from Safeway and let you know if I plan to venture on to the camp site or not.

Is that why we went in three circles :D:D:D:D:D:D

Did Show send the SWR meter, or do I have to buy one?

Thought I should look and see what that sound is tonight , looks like wheel bearings and a new caliper:thumbsup: and I have the wife coming so I need to put the new glass in the rear hatch, while I am at I may as well take the sazall to drivers door so it shuts right.
Tahuya was the first place I wheeled my explorer and it will be the last place it gets wheeled:salute:
Guess I should get started pretty soon
